FEEDBACK

Mrs.Blessica

Mr.Melchior

I quit my $10,000-a-year job to return to my hometown and grow R. cochinchinensis. I must say that this is the best decision I've ever made, and it's all because of this plant.

As my family is a farmer, I have grown up around many plant species and been exposed to agriculture. The smaller plant gives this plant an advantage in that it can be harvested more quickly, yet the sweetness is on par with sugarcane's. The stems are softer and easier to eat. In addition, the leaves can be used as animal feed, so I can save a lot. Thanks for the seed supplier.

In the neighborhood, most people work growing vegetables or short-term crops, so the local economy is still quite poor because the value of agricultural products is not high and the selling price is low.

However, since I planted this R. cochinchinensis variety, everything has changed. The plant grows relatively rapidly and produces a high yield; the price is more than that of regular sugarcane since the design is prettier and softer, making it easier to eat. Currently now, everyone in my village plants this tree, and the local economy is thriving. I appreciate the seed distributor's assistance in my personal and local economic growth.

PLANTING

Step 1: Incubate the seeds
The first thing you need to do when growing sugar cane from seeds is to germinate your chosen variety by soaking them in lukewarm water for 24 hours.

Then, sow the seeds in a well-drained seedling mix and cover them with a thin layer of soil or sand before watering around them until they germinate.

Step 2: Sow the seeds
The next step is to transplant the seedlings into their pots when they are about ten centimeters tall and keep them in a cool greenhouse.

Once your sugar cane is more than 30 centimeters tall, you can transfer it outside with lots of sun exposure, but make sure that there is no competition from grass or weeds around your plant, which will slow down its growth.

Step 3: Care for
Sugar cane needs lots of water and good drainage, so make sure that the soil around your plant is not too compact or wet as this will cause problems for it to grow normally.

If you want to speed up its growth, add some organic matter like well-rotted manure into the ground where your sugar cane grows before planting it.

Step 4: Harvest
Once your sugar cane has reached over one meter tall, you can now decide whether to harvest the plant or wait until next year for better quality and more juice.
